While at Shenandoah, Guy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2011 and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2015. He is excited to be a member of the 校友 Board of Directors because he wants to help shape positive experiences for current and future students of the university so they enjoy their time at Shenandoah as he did. Guy also wants to help continue to grow the university and expand its reach to the rest of the United States 和 world.
“I am interested in serving because I would like to give back to others as I know a lot of my success in the past was shaped by people who helped me during my time at SU,盖伊说.
After graduation, Guy completed a postdoctoral fellowship at 约翰逊 & 约翰逊 和 University of the 科学 (now Saint Joseph’s University) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is now an associate professor of pharmacy practice at the University of Findlay’s College of Pharmacy where he has been working since 2016. In 2019, Guy received the New Investigator Award from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP). Along with serving in AACP, he has also volunteered his time to the American Society of 健康-System Pharmacists.
With all of his experience, Guy believes he can provide a different perspective to the alumni board and give context to the landscape of higher education to board members who aren’t involved in that sector on a daily basis.
